No error messages are seen. The storage expiry run date is never updated to show new runs.
This can occur if any case in eDiscovery has All custodians selected and the case is on legal hold. Because All custodians are set on legal hold, Storage Expiry will not run as there will be no items to delete.
Locate the case in Arctera eDiscovery that includes All custodians and remove the Legal Hold on the case.
Alternatively, change All custodians to Select custodians on the case and set at least one account as a custodian.
Storage Expiry does not show it has collected any items for retention even though it is set to run daily.
