Error Message
No error message is seen. The option to Edit Storage Expiry is grayed out as seen below.
Cause
Storage Expiry cannot be enabled unless the Default Retention period is configured.
Resolution
1. Login to the Veritas Alta Archiving Administration console.
2. Navigate to Retention Management > Retention Policies.
3. Configure the Default Retention Period and Save.
4. Return to the Storage Expiry section and verify the Edit button is now available.
