There is no error message. 

Cause

When a collector is configured to Process failed messages only and there are no failed messages to process the collector will not start up an Importer session as it does not need to because there are no items to process.  It is the importer session that generates a summary and updates the Dash board and sends out report. Because this session does not run no summary is generated and no updates to the Dash Board are made or Reports sent out.  

Resolution

This behavior described is as designed. 

Issue/Introduction

When a collector is configured to process Process failed messages only and there are no failed items to process there is no indication either in the Dash Board or via configured reports that the job actually ran. Note: Some customers may choose to set up a separate collector to Process failed messages only that runs on it's own schedule while also having another collector that imports from the same Source but configured to Process new messages only. The affected configuration will appear as follows:
