No error is reported for the user accounts within the sync reports for either Office 365 or CloudLink.
When attempting to add the alias manually to the account from Manage the following is returned -
The domain does not exist
A new archive cannot be created or updated for a domain which isn't a part of a company's Alta Archiving instance either using CloudLink or Office 365 Sync to remotely manage users. The account also cannot be manually updated using the Veritas Alta™ View Compliance & Governance console as the domain does not exist.
Contact Veritas Support to add all the domains of the company on which archives need to be created/updated.
