Cause

There is no primary email address set for the user account.   

Resolution

Contact Veritas Technical Support to get the primary email address set for the user account.

Issue/Introduction

While trying to access a saved search in Veritas Alta eDiscovery under Investigations > Managed Accounts > Standard Searches > 'Search Name' for a specific custodian it fails with the error: You will not be allowed to perform search because access to all the custodians has expired.

When trying to access a search under E-Discovery > Cases > 'Case name' > Research Set > 'Search Name' a different error is encountered: No custodians found for search. To continue, please charge the search criteria. If you perform a new search and try to select that user account, it doesn't appear in the custodians list. The affected user account will also not appear when it is searched under Investigations > Managed Accounts > Accounts. However the affected user account does appear in the Veritas Alta™ View Compliance & Governance(Manage) Portal.
