Public Key upload failed, please check your settings and try again.

The certificate you uploaded could not be validated. Please check the certificate and try again.

 

Cause

This can occur when the certificate has been exported in DER encoded binary X.509 format and not Base-64 encoding X.509 format.

 

Resolution

Ensure that when exporting the signing certificate, (from an ADFS server for example) to export the certificate using Base-64 encoded X.509.

 

Issue/Introduction

Uploading a certificate into the Veritas Alta Archiving Administration Console (Manage portal) - Authentication Management tab fails.
