Before beginning, Single Sign-On setup for Arctera Personal Archive must already be completed in the Management Console. See the following article:

How to integrate Azure Active Directory with Veritas Alta Archiving SSO

After completing the steps in the above article, SSO will be enabled for Arctera Alta Personal Archive. To enable SSO for Arctera eDiscovery and Management Console as well as Personal Archive, contact customer support. Once customer support has completed their steps, SSO will be enabled for Personal Archive, Arctera eDiscovery and Management Console - no further steps are required.

To setup SSO login for Arctera eDiscovery and Management Console only, and remove SSO access from Personal Archive, use the following method:

  1. Login to https://admin.XX.arctera.com (where XX is the region for the datacenter, either US, EU, or SA) using administrator credentials
  2. Navigate to Policy Management > Authentication Management
  3. Note the Application Login URL (example https://personal.us1.arctera.com?CID=1bea2695-f29f-4b11-bc87-9c5d54cb9999)
  4. Simply replace personal with discovery in the URL to give you your organizations login URL for Arctera eDiscovery (example https://ediscovery.us.arctera.com?CID=1bea2695-f29f-4b11-bc87-9c5d54cb9999)
  5. To determine the URL for Administration; replace personal with manage in the URL (example  https://manage.us.arctera.com?CID=1bea2695-f29f-4b11-bc87-9c5d54cb9999

Please note that only users that have a Reviewer role or have been granted Veritas Advanced eDiscovery access will be able to use SSO to login to Veritas Advanced eDiscovery. The same holds true for the Administration portal. Only users with an Administrator role will be able to use SSO to login to Administration.
